Adventure Party Secrets

Hey guys!

Well, the Adventure Party and Rockhopper are finally here! You know what that means! More secrets!
Pirates, head to the red cove to board your red ship, and sailors go to the beach to go on your ship. It's time for a battle!

Next, head on over to the Migrator for some fun, a free pin, and rare-but-not-rare-anymore items.

You can click the island in the red circle to find a ship in a bottle. Hm, I'm kind of upset that the bandana, map, and bottle are not rare/rare-ish anymore...

Now go to the hidden lake and purchase a blue crab costume. Wear it, and head over to the game, crabs talk to crabs. You have to follow each color to win a nifty prize!
Well, this is it for now, Have fun in the Adventure Party!

Club Penguin Demands Money

HI everyone, I have some disapointing news.

Get your wallets ready, Club Penguin has raised the prices for memberships. OMG, $40 for 6 months?????? Here's what they wrote:

Hello Penguins,

For the first time since Club Penguin started, we've decided to change the price of new memberships purchased in US and Canada. Starting on July 13th, the new price for a Club Penguin membership will be $7.95 a month, $39.95 for 6 months and $59.95 for 12 months.

The new price is only for NEW membership purchases. If you already have a recurring membership, you'll keep paying the old price as long as you stay a member. You'll also be able to use membership cards with the old price if you have them.

Ever since we launched Club Penguin, we've released tons of new games, features and special events, and donated millions of dollars to charitable projects to help kids around the globe. The new price will allow us to create even more great content that will make Club Penguin even better. We can't say too much yet, but we have some really exciting new things planned for you in the coming months!

Until then... Waddle On!

That horrible Billybob! And to all you commenteers who said, "Oh, that's ok, I understand!" or "oooo That's cool!" you don't understand. CP has absolutely no reason to raise prices! This is totally unfair! And with the current economy, we should not pay $60 just to play a game! (with that money, we should be able to play for 2 years!) This just shows that the Club Penguin staff is gready and cruel; just like the Disney company. If you feel the same, write to CP and demand the original prices! Together we can get what we want!

July

Hi People!

As you know, CP has a new map!

Personally, I don't really like it, I mean c'mon! It's just a map! No need to 'improve' it....But what do you guys think? Also, Club Penguin has some news for July:
(From CP blog)

Adventure Party this month - We're putting the finishing touches on this month's event... the Adventure Party! I won't say too much just yet, but I hear a certain pirate may be making an appearance...

Clothing catalog and newspaper - We're doing some updates to our systems for the next few weeks, so the newspaper and this month's clothing catalog will be launching early next week instead of today. Don't worry, we'll let you know as soon as they're ready.

New free items - We're still sending out the two new items to everybody. It will take a few days for the new Red Hat or Blue Cloud background items to get to everyone's accounts.

Bugs squashed - We squashed a bunch of bugs last night, so you can play Card-Jitsu again. We also fixed a couple issues with DJ3K that were causing Flash Player to freeze. Thanks for letting us know about them and helping us make Club Penguin better for everyone!

New games - We've been working on a few new game prototypes. Thanks to those of you that beta tested Rollerscape and some of the other prototypes. You guys had some great feedback! We should have some new games up on the Beta Team site very soon.
Wow...that's a lot! See ya l8r!
